Description

Got Problems? Everybody does! This workshop is designed to empower you to unleash your problem solving power. You will learn and practice a value-based process to accurately identify and solve problems as well as make effective decisions, on the job and in your life. This practical problem solving skill set is based in scientific research and will generalize to even the most complex professional/personal situations. As an added benefit, these skills will also directly improve your job performance and organizational effectiveness thereby making you more valuable to an organization and more effective in life. You will learn:

  • How to recognize when you have a problem and accurately define what it is.
  • How to decide if the problem should or should not be solved.
  • How to identify the barriers to successful resolution and what to do about them.
  • How to analyze the problem, decide on a course of action and execute your plan.

This seminar is very flexible and can be customized based on the needs of the group or organization. For example, it has been used successfully as a team building exercise; taught and applied to solve a specific executive, management or departmental problem; to create an organization’s mission statement; to teach critical thinking skills to teens and young adults; to help people during difficult life transitions like unemployment, divorce, death, aging and much more.
